Ladysmith Road in the Heavitree area of Exeter was named after the famous Siege of Ladysmith during the Second Boer War. Developed during the Edwardian property boom, the street is renowned for its attractive terraced homes, elegant bay windows and distinctive decorative brickwork, much of which still survives today.
It was a pleasure to carry out our latest professional in-situ curtain cleaning project in one of these beautiful period homes.
Before any cleaning began, each curtain was carefully inspected and thoroughly vacuumed to remove dry dust and grit. A specialist pre-treatment was then applied and gently brushed through the fabric to loosen embedded soiling while respecting the material.
